About Rapidemic

Rapidemic is a molecular diagnostic company based in Leiden, the Netherlands, with the mission to make quality diagnostic accessible for all worldwide. Rapidemic develops the first stand-alone disposable test for single-visit and at-home testing of infectious diseases with a high unmet need in the space of sexual health and women’s health. Their first product is an ultrafast test for multiplex diagnosis of the highly prevalent STI’s, chlamydia and gonorrhea. Rapidemic is supported by the BioInnovation Institute in Copenhagen, and recently announced a significant grant of 2,7M$ from the prestigious Gates Foundation.
