Mariëlle Bartholomeus is Member of the Board of Directors of Rivas Zorggroep, a key player on the Dutch health care market, offering a closely aligned range of different services. She is the former Medical Director of the Bernhoven hospital in Uden, the Netherlands. Previously, she was in charge of the programme ‘Hospital wide Capacity Management’ and Medical Leader of neurology department. Mariëlle has also been active as a Member of the Board of the NVN (Dutch Neurology Association) between 2011 and 2016.In 2020, Mariëlle was named ‘Topvrouw Nederland 2020’ for her leadership shown during the pandemic Covid-19. The jury praised her for her authenticity and her hands-on leadership in which she gives people confidence and empowers them. She dares to ask questions and thereby bring in knowledge from outside.Mariëlle is 52 years old, lives in the Netherlands with her husband and 4 children. She studied Medicines at the Radboud University, formerly known as KU Nijmegen, and has been a Neurologist since 2008.
