About Marguérite Mensonides
I was pulled in by the magic of developing medications to treat diseases as a student pharmacy in the late 1980-ies and spent the next 25 years in different key positions within the industry ranging from early R&D to late product launch and sales. In 2016, I brought the start of an idea for the current lead candidate drug product of our company Amplio Pharma's to my two co-founders and through the years we built the current company around that platform.
About Amplio Pharma
Although we started out in Sweden, we relocated Amplio Pharma BV to the Netherlands where we found collaborative partners within Amsterdam and Leiden UMC as well as investors. This year, we raised the funds to execute our first Phase 1b clinical trial in rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease that disproportionally affects women. We stand for sustainable drug development with our motto: "validated medicine, amplified".
