Judith Smit | CEO, FFUND
Judith Smit, CEO at FFUND, is driven to ensure that more innovations reach society. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the NKI/ErasmusMC and has dedicated the past 10 years of her career to the art of strategic fundraising and business plan optimization. She raised over >€150M of funding for innovative companies in the MedTech, Therapeutics, Diagnostics and Digital Health. Since 6 years, she is managing partner of FFUND, where she has joined forces with experienced biotech entrepreneurs to grow a company of 20+ people that support life science companies to get financed and to reach successful deals and exits.

FFUND is a boutique hands-on consulting company that is specialized in the Life Sciences. We offer expertise in acquiring and managing the full financing mix (incl. equity financing, grants, loans and tax credits) and provide Merger & Aquisition support for innovative companies.
FFUND was founded by a group of experienced biotech entrepreneurs with a common vision to accelerate the translation of innovation in the life science industry. Our mission is to leverage the expertise of experienced entrepreneurs with our team of 20+ consultants, to increase the number of successful exits and products on the market.
In the past years, we have served over 280 Life Science Start-ups, SMEs, and Universities in developing sharp business models and securing their strategic financing roadmap by shortening the time to money, optimize the position of the founding-team, and significantly increasing the overall chance of success.
