Peter van den Heuvel is an experienced and internationally oriented real estate professional with over 25 years of expertise in asset-/leasing management, corporate real estate, and strategic portfolio optimization. Known for his enthusiastic approach, empathetic negotiation style and strong ethical standards, Peter combines a people-centered approach with a results-driven mentality. He has a deep affinity for the ‘new economy’, with a focus on sustainability, circular construction, and innovative funding models.
Peter currently serves as Senior Leasing Manager at Kadans Science Partner where he is responsible for the leasing management of their Dutch portfolio focusing on the Life Sciences & Health sector in the Randstad area.
Before this job he was Portfolio Manager at Brightlands Chemelot Campus, overseeing 120,000 sqm of commercial real estate, where he focuses on performance improvement, long-term maintenance, ESG implementation, and vacancy/cost reduction. Previously to that, he was Senior Asset Manager Europe at Capreon/Noé Group (UK), responsible for European operations and overseeing the strategic and tactical management of the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven.
Earlier in his career, Peter held leadership positions at Kwik-Fit, Dela Real Estate, Ahold/Delhaize, and international advisory firms such as CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield, managing large and complex real estate portfolios across retail, logistics, offices, and mixed-use assets throughout the Netherlands and Europe.
Peter holds a degree in Real Estate from Fontys University of Applied Sciences (1996) and has completed a wide range of professional courses in leadership, negotiation, tenancy law, and mediation. He is fluent in Dutch and English, with basic proficiency in German and French.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys photography, Italian cooking, travelling, and exploring the outdoors with his Golden Retriever. He brings not only deep professional knowledge but also a cosmopolitan mindset, high energy, and a strong commitment to innovation in the built environment.
