Extensive experience and knowledge of patient advocacy, breast cancer, local government, and healthcare . Worked in business operations, particularly at the intersection of organisation and management. Currently director of the Dutch Breast Cancer Association, a patient organisation and supervisory board member (treasurer) of "Europa Donna" -federation of breast cancer patient organisations, "Systemic Justice" and "Bureau Clara Wichman".

Due to my Spanish origins, I am an enthusiastic, extroverted and results-oriented person. With my hands-on mentality, I am often called upon to implement visions. My approach and focus, aimed at collaboration, enable me to translate the dot on the horizon into processes and roles.

As a person, I have been happily married to my partner for over 30 years and have two teenage daughters with whom we enjoy and share beautiful, special and everyday experiences, from having dinner together to game days.
