As Senior Director Medical Affairs, Anne Sinke, PhD, champions the medical affairs function within the Benelux Leadership Team at Gilead Sciences.

With more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Anne has led diverse medical teams and overseen successful clinical research programs and product launches across hematology, oncology, infectious diseases, and immunology. He is a vocal advocate for patient access to innovative therapies and actively contributes to cross-functional strategies and talent development within the organization.

Anne holds a master’s degree in biomedical sciences and a PhD in Medical Sciences from Radboud University Nijmegen, where his research focused on osmoregulation and water homeostasis. His career includes leadership roles at Gilead Sciences, Janssen-Cilag, and Mundipharma, collaborating with international teams and external partners. 

Anne is known for his strategic vision, leadership, and ability to translate complex scientific information into impactful medical and commercial strategies. He is a noted speaker on innovation, clinical research and patient access at conferences and podcasts.
