8 October 2026 | 10:45 – 12:00
This NVKFB session explores the translation of emerging technologies into clinical practice, with a specific focus on organoid and organ-on-a-chip platforms as catalysts for therapy optimization. The pivotal role of the (clinical) pharmacologist in bridging the gap between innovative experimental models and clinical practice, enabling more precise and individualized treatment strategies, will be examined.
Chairs: Imke Bartelink (Amsterdam UMC), Tim Preijers (Erasmus MC)
Speakers: Ann Hoeben (Maastricht University MC), Laura Windt (Health~Holland), Julia Houthuijzen (NKI)
FIGON Partners: NVKFB
