This presentation will provide you with an overview of the available jobs and career paths in the Life Sciences sector. Furthermore during this session you will be provided with two methods which you can use to evaluate which jobs would be a good fit for you. These methods are based on your strengths, which activities give you energy and what core values you look for in a job. 

Remco Jongkind | Programme Manager, Hyphen Projects

Remco’s aim is to help people move their careers forward with the courses at Hyphen Projects on career orientation, business development, valorisation and grant writing. Besides his job at Hyphen Projects he also works as a lecturer and policy officer at the faculty of medicine of the University of Amsterdam. His background is in Biochemistry (Amsterdam University College) and Pharmacology (University of Oxford). His Life Science background allows him to relate to the problems faced by young professionals in finding their ideal career paths. During his career he especially enjoyed helping others and teaching.
