About Roelof Konterman | Member of the Executive Board, Achmea

Roelof Konterman has worked for Achmea in various capacities since 1983, including positions at FBTO and Avéro Achmea. Between 1994 and 1999 he was in charge of the insurance operations of former Achmea partners and subsidiaries in Sweden (Wasa Insurance, Stockholm) and America (Vasa North America, Indianapolis). Starting in 2000 he held various managerial positions with responsibility for Achmea Zorg and for health-related operations like Eurocross and Health Services. Since 2008 he has been divisional chairman of Achmea Zorg, to which division Agis was added in 2011. Roelof is a member of the Executive Committee of the Dutch insurers’ umbrella organisation Zorgverzekeraars Nederland and holds non-executive directorships in the Netherlands and other countries. Since April 1st, 2013 he has been a member of the Executive Board of Achmea.
