Jan Christoph Vollgraff is a Vice President in Van Lanschot Kempen’s Life Sciences & Healthcare Investment Banking team, focusing on corporate finance transactions in MedTech and biotech.

Christoph recently joined Kempen from Philips, where he worked for almost eight years across Philips’ healthcare businesses in M&A, as well as strategy and corporate development roles. Specifically, he worked on various acquisitions, minority investments and divestments in the monitoring, healthcare IT, imaging systems, and healthcare provider segments, on the integration of Capsule Techologies, and on Philips its healthcare strategy in Europe. Before Philips, Christoph was in the ING Corporate Finance team working on M&A and IPO transactions across sectors in the Benelux and beyond.

Christoph holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Economics & Finance and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands, and studied for a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Financial History at the University of Cambridge, England, followed by a Master of Science (MSc) in Theoretical Economics at the Paris School of Economics (EHESS/ENS), France.
