Samuel Schellekens is Director of Global Business Development at Comate Engineering & Design, where he works closely with healthtech innovators to translate early concepts into manufacturable medical technologies. With a background in artificial intelligence and an MBA from Flanders Business School, completed in collaboration with the Kellogg School of Management, Samuel combines technical insight with strategic business development experience.

Before joining Comate, he held senior roles in partnerships, product management, and innovation at organizations including Envista, Telenet, and Proximus. Today, he focuses on building collaborations between startups, investors, and engineering teams to accelerate the development of next-generation MedTech devices.

Samuel is particularly interested in early-stage health innovations where strong engineering partnerships can help bridge the gap between concept, clinical validation, and market adoption.
