LIMIS Development BV is a small medtech company with a patented platform technology that visualizes perfusion during surgery, called “PerfusiX-Imaging”. The aim is to reduce the high incidence of severe complications after surgery. For example, in colon cancer surgery 8,5 % of patients have to be re-operated due to anastomotic leakage, and 10% of these patients die due to these complications. The fproduct is ready and we are preparing FDA and MDR certification. LIMIS gained very positive reactions on international surgical conferences, from KOL’s and global medtech players as PerfusiX-Imaging provides surgeons with perfusion imaging without the need for injection of a fluorescent dye in combination with the simplicity of our plug&play concept in the standard surgical OR-infrastructure. LIMIS Development requires additional funding for finalizing certification and bringing the product to the global market, as well as for the further development of a second product to extend the surgical applications.
