About Yuliya Shakalisava | Founder, CEO EXIT071
The success of this academic project at Leiden University provided solid grounds for the startup. EXIT071 is the direct result of Yuliya’s academic research, life-long passion for science, vision for impact and a supportive ecosystem of Leiden BioScience Park. She has now secured the initial 500K euro proof of concept finances. Yuliya’s is fully dedicated to catching exosomes and bringing this deep-tech innovation to the market.
Yuliya has 15 years of international experience in research, management, and fundraising and was awarded Marie Skłodowska Curie Fellowship and WomenTechEU grant for promising women-led stratups 2022. Yuliya takes every opportunity to inspire curious women to pursue science and entrepreneurship and follow their dreams, no matter how impossible they seem.
EXIT071 offers a proprietary technology platform to measure exosomes in patients’ samples and production processes of exosome therapeutics with high precision, speed and high throughput. Our goal is to accelerate exosome therapeutics development and implementation of non-invasive diagnostics in routine clinical practice. Read more
