Bart Sanders, PhD, is the Founder and CEO of STENTiT B.V., a clinical-stage MedTech company developing regenerative endovascular technology to address peripheral artery disease. He established the company in 2017 following his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology, with the objective of translating breakthrough biomaterials research into durable vascular solutions.

As CEO, Bart has built and leads a 17-person multidisciplinary team, secured over €20 million in financing, and structured the operational infrastructure required for clinical and regulatory execution, including advanced laboratory and cleanroom facilities. He directed the Resorbable Fibrillated Scaffold (RFS) program from concept through first patient treatments, advancing the company toward first-in-human clinical evaluation holding ISO13485 certification.
