Professor Dr. Nico L.U. van Meeteren (Amsterdam, 1 December 1959) currently serves as Executive Director of Health~Holland, the bureau of the Life Sciences & Health sector in the Netherlands. He is also Professor of Perioperative Health within the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Erasmus Medical Center, Rotterdam, and Chair of the Netherlands National Committee for the Protection of Animals Used for Scientific Purposes.
