About Jérôme Van Biervliet | Managing Director, VIB
Jérôme Van Biervliet is the managing director of VIB, an excellence-based entrepreneurial research institute in Flanders, Belgium. Jérôme is a board member at VIB spin-offs Confo Therapeutics, Exevir, Oncurious, and Augustine Therapeutics.Jérôme has a mixed background in clinical internal medicine specialty practice, high-impact science, strategic business consultancy, early drug discovery, and business development in the global biotech and pharma industry.
He was trained at Cornell University, KU Leuven, Vlerick Business school, and worked as a strategic business consultant at Bain & Company, specializing in private equity transactions.
