Hans Schikan, PharmD, brings over 30 years experience in the (bio)pharmaceutical sector, latest as CEO of Prosensa in The Netherlands, a company focusing on rare diseases. After the acquisition of Prosensa, Hans currently serves on the board of several biopharma companies, including Pharvaris where he is co-founder. He is member of the Top Team of the Dutch Top Sector for Life Sciences and Health. During 2021 he was Special Envoy for vaccines, appointed by the Dutch Ministry of Health, to explore optimization in the availability of vaccines for COVID-19.Finally, Hans is helping start-up companies, sometimes also as an early investor.
